- Webs and egg sacs clearedCorners, railing joints, light fixtures, the underside of furniture and the ceiling edge, with a brush and vacuum so nothing is spread around.
- Barrier treatment appliedA low-toxicity residual treatment along edges, corners and railing bases, aimed away from neighbouring balconies. Dry in about an hour.
Why it matters
Balcony lights attract insects, and spiders follow. Treating the edges breaks the cycle.
Without treatment, a cleared balcony can be webbed again within weeks.

Do you do this without a cleaning?
Spider proofing is an add-on to a balcony deep clean, since clearing the webs is part of the job.
Will it keep all insects away?
It discourages spiders and the crawling insects they feed on. Flying insects drawn to your balcony light will still visit; switching to a warm-white bulb helps.
What about my plants?
We keep the treatment off foliage and soil. Potted plants are moved and put back.
