Why Ottawa balconies get so dirty
Five months of salt, slush and freeze-thaw leave a grey film on glass and floors.
Ottawa’s tree canopy coats balconies in yellow dust every May and June.
Downtown and along the transit corridors, construction dust settles on everything.
What every Ottawa clean includes
- Windows & glass doors
- Sills, screens & vents
- Railings (outside face where safe)
- Floor deep-scrub, drip-free
- Furniture wipe-down
- Walk-through before you pay
From $165 for balconies up to 60 sq ft. How to measure yours.

Ottawa questions
Still curious? Send us a message and we reply within one business day.
Do you clean in Gatineau?
Yes, across the river in Gatineau, Hull and Aylmer. Enter your postal code when you book to confirm.
Is this allowed in my Ottawa condo?
Yes. Pressure washer only where there’s a drain, scrubbers and sprayers otherwise. Nothing drips onto the balcony below, which satisfies the by-laws of every Ottawa building we have worked in.
When should I book?
Late April through June is busiest. Book early in spring to get the slot you want, or in September for a clean before winter.
